Please gentle reader, excuse this interlude. I am here only at the behest of the writer who is taking a small, though (I imagine) much needed weekend to himself.

As Ahniwa so politely said the other day, I’ve been writing this strip in its new iteration (except for the ‘boobies’ strip). The writing of the last few weeks has been a really fun experience though really draining. My medium being mainly in graphic art and design, I try to focus my attention on the art and development of the image presented more than the words coming from that image.

This storyline was meant simply to introduce a character (who still goes unnamed *le gasp!*) and has grown into six panels of continuity. I tend not to like continuity in strips because it means that I have to draw the same thing over and over again and usually have only minimal success at mimicking my own artwork. Oh, and I despise melodrama.

That being said, I am really enjoying this foray into my counterpart’s milieu. I feel like a…well, I can’t think of an analogy. Probably because I’m not a writer. And yet there it is. Another post is complete.
